Jeff & Ruth Giyer

Jeff & Ruth are houseparents at our Eldorado Springs Unit.  They care for a family of ten young children children, including three of their own.  The Gyiers come to us from Indianapolis, IN with an extensive background in child care.  Jeff served at Show-Me as an intern in the early 1990's.  He graduated with a degree in education from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO in 1995.  Most recently he had worked as an individual financial advisor for Waddell & Reed, Inc.  Before becoming a stay at home mom,  Ruth was employed at Camp LRCA in northwest Indiana where she taught preschool and worked at the camp’s daycare.
